The real name of this church is a little hard to pronounce - Chiesa di Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini or Church of Our Lady of the Conception of the Capuchins. The 17th century church (made famous by Fellini's 1960 film La Dolce Vita) is located on Via Veneto, close to Piazza Barberini and the Trevi Fountain. While the interior of the church is very impressive, the Capuchin crypt is also very interesting. The bones of about 4,000 Capuchin monks are kept here and have been turned into large artworks. Each of the five crypts has a different skeletal artwork - it actually looks quite spooky!
